The beauty of Paris

I was luck enough to be taken away to Paris for 4 days by my husband as a present on our first anniversary.
Straight away I felt at home and instead wanted 3 weeks there just to take photographs! I am not surprised by the amount of artists and musicians that come out of Paris and those that live there - it is a very inspiring city.
My ultimate goal is now to photograph a wedding in Paris, or at least photograph bridal portraits throughout the city.
If there is a couple that would like to have a couple of days in Paris and have the full time having bridal shots taken, I will gladly do it for the price of travel and accomodation. All photographs will be given to the couple free of charge - this is how much I want to shoot a bridal session in this beautiful city.
In the meantime, I took out my photographic urges on statues and sights of the city.
Enjoy!

An evening with the High Sheriff

We were kindly asked if we could photograph an evening held at Police Headquarters in Winsford in aid of Cheshire Crimebeat - a fund that gives money to young people who have a good idea about how to improve their community.
The evening included presentations from people involved with Crimebeat, people who had helped Crimebeat and people who had benefited from Crimebeat. There was also presentations from the High Sheriff - David Briggs D.StJ., D.L - to people who had helped Crimebeat.
We were also given a brief presentation from one of the youth groups involved in the project.
If you feel you have an idea to help the community or are a local youth club that feels they could benefit from Crimebeat's help, please click here for contact details.

The swinging sixties

Thursday night was a chance to go back in time to celebrate the swinging sixties.

It was Pat's sixtieth birthday and she decided that a fitting tribute to the sixties decade was the best way to celebrate.

Nearly everyone joined in and dressed up in their tie-dye, beads, mini-dresses and Afro wigs and the night was enjoyed by everyone.

Happy birthday Pat!

p.s. Thank you to Allan Brown who forwarded me a caricature he did of Pat and Frank in their finery.

Now a full time photographer!

Many of my current clients will know that I work part time as well as being a photographer, however, this has now changed! From this afternoon I am a full time photographer and very proud!

We are now just hoping that Mr Andrew Wells at a planning consultant can get our planning application sorted and approved for our new office/studio.

Our target opening date for the studio is the middle of May, and we will be inviting all our current and past couples to come and have a drink and see the studio set up.

Fingers crossed we get the planning permission!

Winter

It seems that winter has decided to catch up to us and bless us with some snow.

It would be fantastic to shoot a wedding or portrait session in the snow but I don't think my clients would be that happy about going out in the snow and getting cold! So in the meantime I enjoy the snow and my camera by myself.

I think because I grew up in Spain snow still has that magical essence and always makes me smile.

Enjoy!
