Tutus Galore!

The netting fabric arrived today for my new tutus. I will soon have lots of different sized tutus for our child portraiture, which will then be joined by fairy wings, crowns and wands. So if you have a little princess or fairy, we have everything to make her happy!
As we haven't got a proper model to hand, I had to just show off our little white tutu on Teddy! However, I think it would look a lot better on an adorable little girl!

Lighting kit has arrived!

The studio lights have arrived, and its a VERY exciting time!
We have only had a quick play with one of the lights - literally 5 minutes - and we can already see how our portrait lenses come into their own and give stunning results.
This is a crop from one of the photos we took. If we were to blow the image up to 100% of its size, this is how crisp it would be.100% crop

Studio Kit Soon to Arrive

Our new studio equipment is soon to arrive! We are getting very excited and can't wait to start testing out the lights and the backgrounds. We just need the studio to arrive now so we can put it all in and get going on portraits!

Studio Update

We should have our new studio in around 3-5 weeks now which should mean we will be ready for the school holidays!
However, we now have the base ready and our little rose garden out the front will soon actually have roses in it!
Here are some photos of where the studio will be and our view over the fish pond.

Modeling shoot

Today I helped out my sister-in-law, Rebecca by doing some photos for her modeling portfolio. This has been a nice practise for the soon to be arriving studio.
Rebecca is also a hair stylist specialising in long hair and will hopefully helping us by doing the hair and make-up for our portrait clients wanting a spruce up before their photo sessions.

A day fit for a Queen

On the 2nd of March we were in Chester photographing the wedding of Sorcha and Matt at the Queen Hotel.

It was an absolutely beautiful day and the Hotel was stunning! We have already put together an album to show future clients as we had so much fun, and it is one of the most beautiful we have photographed so far.

I would like to personally thank Sorcha and Matt for being such a lovely couple to work with, and for even inviting me to help myself to the very tastey buffet.
