My name is Natasha Marshalsea and I am a Cheshire based wedding and portrait photographer, operating throughout the United Kingdom. I also am available to shoot weddings anywhere in the world and have particular knowledge of the southern coast of Spain where I grew up.

I wasn't one of these people who picked up a camera at a year old and knew my destiny was photography, I always had a passion for black and white images and spent most of my teenage years locked in my parents garage developing my own images on an enlarger probably twice my age. In 2001 I moved to the UK to do a degree in Lens Time and Digital Media.

It wasn't until I came to planning my own wedding that I decided wedding photography was just what I wanted to do - I fell in love with the photos people could take at weddings that weren't the stiff smiles and formals. A wedding is about making a commitment to each other and having a great time surrounded by your family and friends, not being bossed about by a photographer for hours on end. So whilst planning my wedding I took on apprenticeship and learnt the art of photographing weddings.

That was four years ago and I still love every minute of a wedding.

Last year I also decided to branch out into portraiture. It was maternity and baby photographs that I admired this time and when I fell pregnant with my son I knew it was a great move. I now have a studio based at home and especially enjoy taking photographs of the family as it grows - I have a few couples now who I have photographed on their wedding day and have now come back for their maternity and baby photographs. It’s so nice to be a part of the special moments in their lives.
